Mitsui eyes 100MW solar power plant projects in Japan
Japan's Mitsui plans to construct large scale solar plants with a total capacity of 100MW in the quake hit regions of Tohoku, Japan.
The company has begun negotiations with local authorities and the Tohoku Electric Power for the construction of the project. Tohoku Electric Power company is expected to purchase the power generated from the plants, which are sufficient to power about 30,000 households.
