India's Power Grid awards enterprise solutions contract to ZTE
ZTE Corporation bagged a contract from Power Grid Corporation of India to help the state-run firm reduce costs.
As part of the agreement, China's ZTE will deploy equipment and devices that will enhance PGCIL’s network coverage and service quality.
“The contract will increase ZTE’s share of PGCIL’s transmission market to 15%, a significant achievement for the company in India’s non-telecom operator market. As part of the agreement, ZTE will deploy more than 385 DWDMs, 1025 SDHs, and several PTN devices,” the company said.
