China Resources Power's net generation up 21.% in September
It increased to 9,368,705 MWh from 7,733,629 MWh for the same period last year.
In a release, China Resources Power Holdings Company Limited announced that total net generation in September 2011 (on a consolidated basis) increased by 21.1% to 9,368,705 MWh from 7,733,629 MWh for the same period last year. Total net generation for the first nine months of 2011 (on a consolidated basis) increased by 21.0% to 83,994,255 MWh compared to 69,418,232 MWh for the same period last year.
On a same plant basis, total net generation for the first nine months of 2011 increased by 2.6% compared to the same period last year. Power plants located in Henan, Guangdong, Hebei, Jiangsu and other service provinces recorded 7.1%, 3.9%, 2.5%, 2.1% and 8.6% increase year on year, respectively. Power plants located in Liaoning province recorded a 26.3% decrease year on year, as three 200MW coal-fired units in Jinzhou Power Plant ceased operations in 2010.
