Bangladesh ready to invest in hydro power with Myanmar

Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina proposed a cooperation with Myanmar to produce hydropower during bilateral talks between two countries.

She also declared  Bangladesh's readiness to invest in any hydropower project in Myanmar as equity basis or as a direct purchaser.

Both coutries discussed issues of boosting trade relation between the two countries, and stressed on the need for more interaction, not only at government level, but also at private level.
