Huadian Power puts up Indonesian Branch

A subsidiary of China Huadian Corporation became the first foreign-funded company licensed to operate a power plant in Indonesia.

According to yicai.com, Huadian Power Generation Operating will be mainly engaged in operating the Asahan No.1 Hydropower Station and provide hydropower operating technologies to local power plants.

Asahan No.1 Hydropower Station has two 90 MW generating units with designed capacity of 1.18 GWH per year. It started power generation in March 2010.
