Yingli Green Energy lands 220 MW supply deal

Will supply solar modules for five solar power plants.

The multicrystalline modules will be used in five photovoltaic projects of China Power Investment Corporation in Hebei and Qinghai provinces.

This deal follows an order for 110 MW of Yingli solar modules to China Power subsidiary, Huanghe Hydropower, in 2011.

China Power is one of the five largest state-owned power producers in China and is involved in constructing the controversial Myitsone Dam in Burma which is expected to provide between 3 GW and 6 GW of hydropower to China's Yunnan province when completed in 2017.
