China to make solar energy products in Zhongguancun

As production lines to be built for low cost systems.

The Chinese Academy of Sciences through its Institute of Automation launched an industrialization project focusing on research and development and manufacturing high temperature solar energy products.

Located in Zhongguancun’s Huairou Science Park, the project aims to offer solar steam systems to industries and families at low cost.

This is to be built will be a vacuum solar water heater production line with an annual capacity of 200,000 units, and a solar heat collector production line with an annual capacity of 30,000 units.
