China's nuke power to hit 40m kW by 2015

In a report by Xinhua, the nuclear power plants in China are projected to hit a total installed capacity of a whopping 40 million kilowatts come 2015.
This was revealed by Ye Qizhen, an academician from the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
According to him, compared to nuclear power, coal power has high transportation costs and may be dangerous to the environment. Nuclear power, on the other hand, does not emit harmul pollutants.
