Guoxin, Sainty cooperate on rooftop project
Jiangsu Guoxin New Energy and Jiangsu Sainty Solar System will build a 4MW rooftop array in Siyang, China. The system, which cost US$14.5 million and covers an area of 52,000 square metres, has the potential to generate in excess of 4.64 million kWh of electricity per annum during its 25-year lifespan.
Equipment for the project, including modules and inverters, was supplied by Jiangsu Sainty and passed stringent TÜV testing prior to installation. The Siyang system takes the company’s solar installations past the 300MW mark and, with further upstream and downstream projects planned, this figure is likely to reach 500MW by the end of 2011.
