Malaysia to host annual gathering of global power industry professionals at POWER-GEN Asia 2014

Becoming the focus of region’s premier power forum.

POWER-GEN Asia and Renewable Energy World Asia, the region’s premier conference and exhibition for all aspects of the power generation industry, will return to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 10-12 September 2014, at the KLCC. 

POWER-GEN Asia, co-located with Renewable Energy World Asia, is the leading force in delivering a platform for the power industry to meet, share information on the challenges facing the power industry and discuss solutions for advancing Asia’s energy future, and will return to Malaysia for the first time since 2011.

Attracting over 7,800 delegates and attendees from over 70 countries across South East Asia and around the world, it is the industry’s premier conference and exhibition dedicated to the power generation, renewable and alternative energy industries. Event Director, Glenn Ensor, said, “We are delighted that POWER-GEN Asia will be returning to Malaysia, where we hope to continue upon the achievements our 21st edition in Bangkok, Thailand where we held our most successful event in the shows history, and enjoyed great support from leading organizations and governments from Thailand and South-East Asia as a whole”. 

The POWER-GEN Asia and Renewable Energy World Asia conference is a key forum for senior executives, industry leaders and senior engineers to discuss a range of important topics, the latest issues and solutions, in order to meet the challenge of the growing demand for electricity in the region, both conventional and alternative, under the theme of “Connecting Asia’s Power Professionals”.
