China-based Clenergy to provide mounting system for a solar power plant in Japan

It'll generate 26.1m kWH a year.

China-based Clenergy, a clean energy investor and solar-solution provider, has announced that it is supplying mounting systems for one of the largest solar power plants in Japan.

According to a release from Clenergy, the project covers 370,000 square meters of land, with a total installation of 24.8MW and an estimated power generation of 26.1 million kWH per year.

This is equal to the annual energy consumption of 7000 households. The large-scale solar power plant is located in a 37 hectare private and communal forest in Nasushiobara City, Japan.

Construction had begun in June 2014 and the plant is expected to begin operations in September 2015.
