Japanese firm SB Energy divests stake in 100MW Ibaraki wind project

The sale resulted from differing shareholding views on the farm's future.

Japanese renewables firm SB Energy Corp sold its stake in the 100MW Ibaraki offshore wind project to Komatsuzaki Group's Wind Power Group.

Prior to the sale, SB Energy and local firm Orix Corp each owned 33.3% stake in Wind Power Energy, while Wind Power Group had 33.4%.

According to SB Energy, the sale was a result of "differing shareholder views" on the future of the offshore wind farm.
