Australia's Clean Energy Finance Corporation to inject $20m in biggest solar farm
The 116MW project costs around $225m.
Australia's Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) will invest $20m in Australia's biggest solar farm, Ross River Solar Farm. This is the first time the CEFC bought an equity stake in a solar farm.
The $225m project will be completed in early 2018 and is expected to generate 116MW, enough to power around 65,000 homes.
Ross River Solar Farm is being developed by ESCO Pacific and Palisade Investment Partners. It has secured a 13-year PPA with EnergyAustralia.
