Phinma gets approval to build 45MW solar plant in the Philippines
The project will be developed in 486-ha area.
Phinma Energy Corporation, the power generation subsidiary of Phinma Group, finally secured an approval from the Energy Department to develop its 45MW solar power project in Batangas.
According to a disclosure to the Philipipne Stock Exchange, Phinma signed an energy service contract with the department, securing the exclusive right to explore, develop, and utilise solar energy in the 486-hectare site in Batangas.
The service term contract is 25 years, extendable for another 25 years.
