JinkoSolar wins module supply contract for new Chinese PV systems
JinkoSolar has been solely awarded the module supply contract for China Guangdong Nuclear Solar Energy Development's upcoming projects in Dunhuang and Qinghe County.
Jinko will provide 38MW of its PV modules, with the first 18MW shipment scheduled to be delivered by October 25.
"This validates our reputation as a large-scale producer of some of the highest quality solar modules available in the market today," said Xiande Li, chairman of the board of directors at JinkoSolar.
Li added that the deal also represents an important step forward in expanding the company's global footprint, especially in China, where they expect a rapid growth in its market due to the nation's new feed-in tariff.
The two PV systems are part of a larger 128MW ground-mounted project, which is owned and operated by CGN-SEDC. Engineering, procurement and construction services for the systems are being carried out by China Guangdong Nuclear Engineering.
