China Datang to use Vestas turbines in Mongolia project

China Datang has given Vestas a new contract to supply 49.3MW of wind turbines for its Dayuanshan wind farm in Wuchuan County, Mongolia.

The company will supply 58 units of the V60-850kW turbines, which will be installed at the wind farm.

Work under the contract includes delivery, installation and commissioning of the wind turbines, a VestasOnline Business SCADA

solution, as well as a two-year service and maintenance agreement.

The turbines are expected to be delivered in the third quarter of 2011.
