
CRP net generation increases 29.1% in 10 months
China Resources Power’s total net generation, on a consolidated basis, increased by 18.4% to 7,628,074 MW in October.
The company generated 6,441,641 MW for the same period in 2009. Total net generation for the first ten months of 2010, on a consolidated basis, increased by 29.1 per cent to 77,046,306 MW compared to 59,672,712 MW for the same period last year.
On a same plant basis, total net generation for the first ten months of 2010 increased by 4.2 per cent compared to the same period last year. Power plants located in Henan, Hebei, Guangdong, Jiangsu and other service provinces recorded 13.7, 7.4, 6.4, 6.0 and 7.7 per cent increases year on year, respectively. Power plants located in Liaoning province recorded a 28.8 per cent decrease year on year, as three 200MW coal-fired units in Jinzhou Power Plant ceased operations.
