Everbright starts operating new Jiangsu Solar Plants

China Everbright International’s new photovoltaic power generation plants in Jiangsu Province are now operational. They are located in the cities of Zhenjiang and Suqian.

The Zhenjiang facility is the largest ground-mounted thin film PV power plant in Jiangsu, with total spending of US$11.12 million and total installed capacity of 3.5MW. It will generate four gigawatt-hours of electricity per year.

The company’s Suqian facility has installed capacity of 1.85MW and is estimated to generate electricity of 2.2 GWh per year. Total spending for it was US$7.9 million.
