Gujarat issues tender for 700MW of projects in Dholera Solar Park
Bidders can tender in multiples of 50MW.
Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (GUVNL) is re-tendering 700MW solar power from projects to be located in the 1GW Dholera Solar Park on a build-own-operate basis, a notice from the Indian power company revealed.

GUVNL will enter into a power purchase agreement (PPA) with the successful bidders for 25 years from the scheduled commercial operation date of the project. The maximum tariff payable to the selected bidder and that a bidder can quote at any stage during the bidding process shall be $0.038 (Rs2.92) per unit.
Each bidder can only place a tender for a minimum of 50MW capacity and in multiples of 50MW only. The auction process for 300MW of plots in Dholera Solar Park was already completed, and only 14 plots with 50MW capacity each are available.
Responses to the request for selection (RfS) document can be submitted online until 18 April. The technical bid opening is set to take place on 20 April, and the financial bid opening and reverse e-auction will be held on 27 April.
