Unit 1 of Jingdezhen connected to grid

Unit 1 of the “Replace Small Units with Big Ones” expansion project of Jingdezhen Power Plant was successfully connected to grid. It took only 13 months and 28 days from construction to grid connection, setting a schedule benchmark of 600MW units in China and in the world.

Equipped with efficient ESP, Unit 1 of Jingdezhen Power Plant Expansion Project is the first in China with no flue gas de-SOx and de-NOx bypass. The project saves 99 gram coal/KWh, reduces SO2 emission by 6300 tons a year, and basically realizes zero emission with a 100% utilization rate of ash and desulphurized gypsum. By recovering all industrial wastewater after treatment, the project uses 10 million m3 less water than the former plant.
