Techno-commercial bids for Kutehr HEP to be in by May end
JSW Energy Limited has set a deadline of May-end for submission of technical and commercial bids for its 240 MW Kutehr HEP.
The Central Electricity Authority accorded techno economic concurrence for the project during October last year. Environment clearance has been recommended by the expert appraisal committee of the Ministry of Environment and Forests.
The approved completion cost of the project stands at Rs 1,798.13 core, in the form of equity contribution of Rs 449.53 crore and domestic commercial borrowings worth Rs 1,348.60 crore. Out of the total, the hard cost, IDC and FC components are estimated to be Rs 1,437.45 crore, 353.94 crore and 6.74 crore, respectively. Till March 31, 2011, about Rs 119 crore has been expended on the project.
