SVEVIND subsidiary to develop wind-solar-hydrogen plant in Kazakhstan
The 20GW electrolysers can produce up to 20 million tonnes of green hydrogen annually.
HYRASIA ONE, a subsidiary of SVEVIND Energy Group, signed an investment agreement with the government of Kazakhstan government to develop one of the largest pure green hydrogen production plants globally.
In a statement, HYRASIA ONE said the final investment decision for the project worth around $40b to $50b will be made in 2026.
A 40-gigawatt (GW) wind and solar plant will be installed in southwest Kazakhstan which will generate around 120 terawatt-hours of energy annually.

The generated renewable energy will be used for an industrial park of 20GW electrolysers which can produce up to two million tonnes of green hydrogen annually which is equivalent to one-fifth of the expected EU import demand for 2030.
Hydrogen prosciutto in the Mangystau region is expected to start by 2030 and reach full capacity by around 2032.
