GCL-Poly orders wire saws at Applied Materials
GCL-Poly Energy Holdings has placed an order with Applied Materials for wire saws with a wafering capacity of 2.5GW.
In addition, GCL has also agreed to buy Applied’s E3 automation software and extended maintenance support. Financial details of the orders have not been disclosed.

"We are pleased to have Applied Materials join us in our efforts to help our customers bring down the cost-per-watt of solar cells."
