Meili Paper to build 3MW solar station
Meili Paper will build a 3MW solar power station costing US$12.6 million. According to China Business News, the plant will generate annual power of 4.41 gigawatt-hours.
Huadian Power approved for 49.5-MW wind project
Provincial authorities approved Ningdong Wind Power’s plan to build a 49.5-MW wind power field in Ningxia province. According to reports by yicai.com, maximum investment in the project is US$72 million.

Yingli Green Energy has entered into aggregately over 1,000 MW of PV module contracts for 2011 delivery. With this the company exceeded its sales target one month ahead of previously announced schedule. Customers under majority of those contracts were required to make prepayments to the Company in order to ensure committed delivery in 2011.
